Selection Notes
This is a standard-duty (SDuty) EasyLogic capacitor, intended for networks with network harmonic content at or below 10% and no significant non-linear loads — where variable frequency drives or large rectifier loads push harmonic content higher, the heavy-duty (HDuty) EasyLogic range with detuned reactors is the correct choice instead. Within the 480 V EasyLogic SDuty line, select this 33.9 kvar unit to match the reactive power deficit measured at the compensation point; oversizing a correction capacitor raises the risk of resonance with upstream reactive elements, so pairing kvar step size to the actual load profile matters more than rounding up to the next sibling rating.
