The Siemens 3RW5516-1HA14 is a SIRIUS 3RW55 high-performance digital soft starter rated for 32 A operational current and designed for supply voltages from 200 to 480 V AC. Its control supply is 110–250 V AC, and it supports three-phase torque control for smoother acceleration and reduced mechanical stress. At standard wiring (inline), the unit is specified for motor power ratings of 7.5 kW at 230 V and 15 kW at 400 V; when used inside-delta the applicable ratings reach 15 kW at 230 V and 22 kW at 400 V. The device includes an internal bypass, integrated motor overload protection and a removable HMI with colour display for measurement and diagnostics. Optional plug-in communication modules (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Modbus TCP) allow integration into automation networks. Typical applications are large pumps, compressors, conveyors and other heavy-duty industrial motors that benefit from adjustable starting current/torque control, reduced inrush, condition monitoring and simplified commissioning.
