The 2 m length fits a router-to-antenna run inside or beside a single enclosure; longer separations call for an RCoax cable segment feeding into this connector rather than a longer N-Connect assembly, since attenuation rises with cable length across the 0-6000 MHz band. Both attenuation and return loss figures are quoted up to 5.85 GHz, covering 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi as well as licensed mobile-radio bands, so the same cable serves IWLAN and cellular gateway installations without a band-specific variant.
