Selection Notes
This FSA frame covers the low end of the S200 PTI range at 0.40 kW / 1.3 A rated current; pick a larger frame size if the application needs more than the 6.0 A maximum output current can deliver on acceleration. The PTI designation means it takes a pulse train command directly rather than needing a fieldbus master, which is the reason to choose it over a fieldbus-addressed S200 variant on machines with a simple point-to-point motion controller.
Applications
Fits small single-axis pulse-train-controlled positioning tasks, including pick-and-place, small indexing tables, and labeling axes, driven from a motion controller or PLC pulse-train output rather than a fieldbus network.
