The Siemens 6SL3120-2TE21-8AD0 is a SINAMICS S120 Double Motor Module (booksize frame size D) with 600 V DC link input and two independent 400 V 3AC outputs rated 18.0 A each (Imax 54.0 A), for internal air-cooled operation up to 40 °C. It ships with the DRIVE-CLiQ cable and supports extended Safety Integrated functions.

As a Double Motor Module, this unit drives two independent 18.0 A axes (54.0 A peak each) from a shared 510-720 V DC link fed by an upstream Line Module, rather than acting as a standalone drive — pick it over two Single Motor Modules when both axes fit within the 18 A / 9.7 kW rating and cabinet space is the constraint. The 4.00 kHz pulse frequency and 650 Hz servo-control output frequency ceiling suit high-dynamic servo axes; V/f and vector control are also supported at lower output frequency limits (600 Hz and 300 Hz). Extended Safety Integrated support matters when either axis needs functional safety (e.g. SS1, SLS) without an external safety relay.
