- Description
The Siemens 6NH3112-0BB00-0XX0 SIMATIC RTU3011C is a compact, battery- or solar-powered remote terminal unit with 8 DI, 8 DO and 4 AI onboard, an Industrial Ethernet port and GNSS positioning. It speaks DNP3, IEC 60870-5-104, SINAUT ST7 or MQTT for telecontrol and cloud reporting, and configures through its built-in webserver rather than dedicated engineering software.

Selection Notes
The 10.8 to 28.8 V DC external input plus a 7.2 V battery mode means this RTU keeps logging and buffering telegrams, up to roughly 10,900 for DNP3 or TeleControl Server Basic, through mains outages without a separate UPS. Two of the eight digital inputs double as 5 kHz counter inputs, so flow or pulse metering does not need a separate counter module. Choose the loadable protocol, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-104, SINAUT ST7 or MQTT, to match the control center already in use, since the unit runs one protocol stack at a time rather than several concurrently; check GNSS national approvals for the installation country before deployment.
