- Description
The Siemens 6ES7193-6BP00-0BA1 is a SIMATIC ET 200SP BaseUnit type A1 (BU15-P16+A0+2B/T) for mounting one I/O module with 16 push-in process terminals, rated 24 V DC and up to 10 A on the P1/P2 potential bus. It includes a temperature sensor and bridges the incoming potential group to the left.

Selection Notes
Type A1 accepts a 16-terminal I/O module such as a 16-channel digital output module in the same station. The bridged potential-group formation continues the incoming 24 V feed from the adjacent BaseUnit rather than starting a fresh one - pick a new-load-group BaseUnit variant instead at a point in the station where a separate 24 V feed and fusing must begin. The built-in temperature sensor lets the paired I/O module read local ambient temperature without an added sensor module.
Applications
Physical mounting and wiring base for ET 200SP digital or analog I/O modules in a distributed control cabinet, used where the module continues the same 24 V potential group as its neighbors.
