BU-Send provides the single slot the BA-Send BusAdapter plugs into to begin an ET-Connection cabled segment; it carries no supply or bus circuitry of its own, since that function lives entirely in the BA-Send module mounted on it. Pair it with the matching BA-Send BusAdapter 6ES7193-6AS00-0AA0; it is not usable with a standard I/O module.
