The Siemens 6ES7148-6JD00-0AB0 is an IP67-rated SIMATIC ET 200eco PN IO-Link master with 4 M12 ports, each configurable as IO-Link, digital input or digital output up to 100 mA, for mounting directly on the machine outside a control cabinet. It connects over PROFINET with an integrated switch and supports IO-Link protocol versions 1.0 and 1.1 at up to 230 kBaud.

Each of the 4 M12 ports can run as an IO-Link master channel, a digital input or a digital output up to 100 mA, so the same module covers mixed sensor and actuator wiring on a machine without swapping hardware. IP65/67 sealing and the ATEX Zone 2/22 gas and dust rating let it sit in the field near the sensors instead of inside a cabinet, cutting cable runs back to a central IO-Link master. With an integrated PROFINET switch and MRP media redundancy, it can be looped into a ring topology along the machine without an external switch.
