It has no holding brake, carries a single-turn 20-bit DRIVE-CLiQ absolute encoder (AS20DQI), and is naturally cooled in a shaft height 48, IMB 5 (IM V1/V3) housing rated IP64.

This is the highest rated-speed 1FK7042 winding in this batch, rated 6,000 rpm at the same 3 Nm standstill torque as the other windings in this frame, with the lowest torque constant (0.68 Nm/A) and winding resistance (1.15 Ω) of the four — it draws the least current per unit torque at high speed (2.5 A rated). Choose it over the 2,000 or 3,000 rpm windings when the axis needs a wide, high-speed range; choose a lower-speed winding when the application is torque-limited rather than speed-limited, since the optimum speed rating for continuous operation is 5,000 rpm, below the 6,000 rpm nominal. No holding brake is fitted.

Applications
